Salt nicotine, what is it––and why we are using it instead of regular nicotine?
In short, salt nicotine is regular nicotine with a touch of acid.
Depending on which acid you use (we know because we've tested all of them), salt nicotine creates less of a "nicotine taste" and a much smoother experience for your throat. The "smoothing" effect is noticeable at 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and up!
In general, quality salt nicotine is more expensive for us to use, but we find that it allows our flavors notes to come out even better than before.

How to know if your bottle of Aeris has salt nicotine
With our recent packaging switch to squeezable plastic comes the move to salt nicotine. If you have an Aeris Vapors glass bottle, you have ultra-high quality regular (freebase) nicotine. If you have the new Aeris Vapors squeezable plastic bottle, you've got ultra-high quality salt nicotine.
